Details of Student Grievance Redressal Committee (SGRC) and Ombudsperson
The Student Grievance Redressal Committee (SGRC) is dedicated to addressing and resolving grievances and concerns raised by students in a timely and fair manner. Our committee is comprised of faculty members, student representatives, and administrative staff who are committed to creating a supportive and inclusive academic environment.
**Objectives of SGRC:**
- To provide a platform for students to voice their grievances.
- To ensure fair and transparent investigation of grievances.
- To promote a culture of mutual respect and understanding within the academic community.
- To recommend actions to address grievances and improve institutional policies.
**Ombudsperson:**
The Ombudsperson serves as an independent and neutral party, tasked with ensuring that students receive fair treatment and that their concerns are addressed effectively. The Ombudsperson is responsible for:
- Acting as a confidential resource for students seeking guidance on grievances.
- Investigating complaints and making recommendations for resolution.
- Promoting awareness of students' rights and responsibilities.
We encourage students to reach out to the SGRC or the Ombudsperson for assistance with any issues they may face. Together, we strive to maintain a positive and conducive learning environment for all.
